Here’s My Story & Approach

Psychedelic Career Coaching

I’ve worked at several psychedelic organizations, including ketamine clinics, guiding services, and telehealth platforms.

As a 3x recruiter, I’ve interviewed over 450 people for psychedelic jobs and oversaw hiring decisions.

Finding a job in psychedelics can be difficult because the space is young and there are few established career paths and limited opportunities available. I’m here to share my experience as both an employee of and recruiter for these groups, to help you find your future in psychedelics.

Psychedelic Therapy

Depression has been a part of my life for a long time, but my first psychedelic experience led to a pivotal shift and helped me work through depression better than anything.

It was a warm day in early summer, June 5th - my birthday - and my two closest friends and I took a heroic dose. The experience was euphoric, interesting, and transformative. I saw the beauty of the colors of the trees. I felt grounded with my feet on the grass and concrete. Thereafter, I felt much less depression. That journey changed my life. Now, I share my experience, knowledge, and compassionate care to individuals who want to journey in a therapeutic setting.

I created Pivot Psychedelics - a team of psychedelic therapists and guides. We help people who seek intentional, therapeutic journeys with these plants.

Substance Positive Consulting

I believe that substances are actually a good thing for most people. For example, many individuals consume caffeine on a regular basis and it helps them work, play, and enjoy life. Similar things are possible with cannabis, and lesser known alcohol alternatives.

The dangers of drug use are real, but they’re almost all the result of prohibition and a misled public understanding of drugs. These things keep us in the dark and prevent us from learning how to use substances safely. Further, very few people live in a “substance positive” social context, which makes these plants all the more isolating and scary.

Those are the real dangers of drug use: unregulated supply, lack of knowledge, stigma from others.

I help adults who want to use substances responsibly, intentionally, and positively. This includes finding alternatives to alcohol and unpacking inaccurate, unhelpful ideas about drugs. Here are some intentions I support:

  • Finding alcohol alternatives / finding substances to use socially.

  • Discovering plants that stimulate, give energy, and help one be productive.

  • Using plants therapeutically to relax and unwind, and even to process unresolved trauma.
